Airborne Epidemic Question...?

Okay, I'm adapting something I wrote in tenth grade, a romance that dealt with yellow fever, into something modern. I'm having a hard time finding a disease that will fit, though. I need something that fits into all of the three categories, 1)Deadly, 2) Airborne, and 3) Easily spread (In a very short span of time if at all possible). I can't seem to find anything that would fit into modern day America.
