Would you read a story about the love affair between an American Indian man and an African Princess?
My new book "Love's Soft Voice" tells the love between a young couple during the Triangular Slave Trade. Love is a universal language and true love knows no boundaries. The story is historical fiction, based on truth. I am 50 years old and during my lifetime, I have not seen a movie or read a book that tells a story such as "Love's Soft Voice," so I wrote it. My goal is to pay a tribute to people with a multi-racial heritage. I once read in a book that 1 out of every 3 Black Americans have an American Indian heritage. Truly, American Indian people lived on Turtle Island (North America) long before anyone else came across the ocean and once people started coming they mingled with American Indian people. I also once read that African people came to America and traded with First Nation People long before European people came.
