Did you have a hysterectomy. How do you feel about it?

I think I need to have a hysterectomy with both ovaries out this spring. The gynecologist said she would not leave an ovary because they are both cystic. I have severe pelvic pain and fibroids. Im worried about having my ovaries removed and the hormonal changes which I am sure will occur. I am 45 yrs old. I am not menopausal yet and still have regular periods. I am still ually active, but worry this will take out my drive and leave me uninterested in ever having again. How did you feel after your hysterectomy and would you do it again?
