I have been taking morphine for back pain for 5 years. My doctor says I can take it indefinitely .?

What are the side effects of long term use of narcotic pain medications. Like for example , heart, bones, brain function. I am worried about premature aging. I would like to detox off the morphine but my doctor does not support me. I'm only 55.
