Why is it OK for home toys to have the smell, but not Cuddle Cat?

I agree with Julie a. I would have thought as cuddle cat is the only thing left of Madeleine she would have wanted Madeleine scent to remain with her forever, unless of course she has something to hide.............. I find this whole thing bizarre.
