I'm trying to get the ambient music from the World of Warcraft CDs to listen on MP3 player.?

I walked away from the game a couple of years ago, uninstalled it, and I don't want to install it again (don't tempt me!). So I'm looking for all of the ambient music on the CDs and it's a pain finding it all. I'm looking for the original game audio file locations and the Burning Crusade CD pack audio file locations. Also, how do I play these .wav_ files? Renaming them to .wav doesn't work.
