Where in turkey would you reccomend?

Hi me and my boyfriend are looking to book a holiday to turkey in july 2010 and we are just wondering which resort to book for, we would like a sandy beach not the shingle ones and somewhere thats got a lively nightlife. we have been looking at Altinkum & Marmaris so far any info would be most appreciated. x
