Jehovah's Witnesses - what is the Society's standpoint on meditation?

the WBTS does not approve of yoga? but what about meditation? when i was younger, i remember a sister, she was a regular pioneer, she used to fast and meditate quite often, but since meditation has the same roots, what's the verdict?
