Yahoo advertises spam filters so why so much spam here?

I am constantly reporting spam surely there is a way to search all messages for dell laptops for instance and just delete them all - there surely cant be a real question about buying a dell laptop- If the spam filter works on my emails why doest yahoos work for here.
